The Schaumburg Boomers, of the independent Frontier League, are presenting a unique Broadcasting Internship for the 2015 season. Candidates for this position will be professional, motivated and a self starter while looking to gain experience in and honing their skills as a lead broadcaster for a professional baseball team.
This position will start on or about May 1, 2015 and will run through the completion of the Schaumburg Boomers regular season (or playoffs if applicable). The chosen candidate will be committing to the full season with the team.

Hired candidate will need to provide their own local housing and transportation.
No phone calls or e-mails please. Candidates will need to apply through Teamwork Online. Candidates selected for the second step of the process will be required to send the Boomers either an audio link/file or cd of a live broadcast (baseball preferred). Those candidates selected to send in their broadcast will be contacted directly by a member of the Boomers staff. Candidates making the final interview will be required to come to Schaumburg, IL for an in-person interview.
Candidates without previous broadcasting experience will not be considered for this position.
