Dave Salvi was named Vice President of Marketing and Promotions for the Schaumburg Boomers in September 2011 after spending the last four years with the Gary SouthShore RailCats. Salvi is excited to bring the minor league baseball tradition of family fun and winning baseball to Schaumburg. 

While with the RailCats, Salvi served as the Manager of Advertising and Promotions, overseeing all advertising and branding associated with the team. Salvi also operated the game-day promotions for the RailCats. Prior to joining the RailCats, Salvi worked for the Chicago-based public relations firm Dig Communications, now called Olsen Public Relations. 

A graduate of Loyola University Chicago, Salvi grew up in Lake Forest, IL, and currently resides in Chicago with his wife, Elena. He is Pat and Lindy Salvi’s second son.

Known to rock both karaoke and dance-offs, Salvi is mistaken for a number of people including Zack Braff, Keanu Reeves, Shia LaBeouf, Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Harrison Ford, Jerry O’Connell, and David Duchovny. It depends on the angle.
