The Wantagh, New York native played in 69 games during the regular season for the Boomers where he batted .272 and had an on-base percentage of .318 in 258 plate appearances. Parenty played most of his time in the field at second base where he had only had three errors in 110 attempts, but also was a great utility player in the field for the Boomers where he spent time at shortstop, left field, and right field. Parenty attended Stony Brook University in New York and was named the America East Conference Player of the Year in 2015 and earned a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region team.

Morgenstern, 23, will make his debut with the Boomers this upcoming 2018 season. In 2017, Morgenstern was a part of the Kansas City T-Bones of the American Association as a reliever.
