Kines is entering his fourth season with the Boomers in 2019. Kines in 2018 compiled a 6-4 overall record with a 4.33 ERA and 81 strikeouts. Drafted in the 36th round by the Marlins in2015, the Myrtle Beach, SC native was a four-time College All-Region pitcher and two-time College All-American at Mount Olive College (North Carolina).
