Lobdell returns for his second season with the Boomers after being acquired via trade at the start of the 2018 season from the Lake Erie Crushers. Last season, Lobdell was selected to the 2018 All-Star game after a tremendous first half of the season as he ranked amongst the best in the league with a 2.80 ERA and held opposing batters to just a .217 average. Lobdell finished the season starting in 18 games with a 5-8 record along with a 4.24 ERA in 101.2 innings of work. Lobdell resides in Huntington Beach, CA.
