SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The 2017 Frontier League Champion Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, today announce their 2018 Frontier League schedule, including game times for all 48 home games at Boomers Stadium. The team will open the season on the road for a three-game series against the Gateway Grizzles May 11-13. The 2018 Home Opener is Tuesday, May 15 against the Southern Illinois Miners.

The Boomers 2018 schedule boasts a total of twenty fireworks shows, including the return of post-game fireworks displays following every Friday and Saturday home game. The Boomers full 2018 promotional and event schedule, featuring fan giveaways, promotional appearances, food and beverage specials, and theme nights will be announced in March.

Other schedule highlights include the annual Independence Day celebration (July 3-4), a School Day Game (May 16), two Camp Days (June 13, August 11), and two Business Day Games (June 28, August 16). The team will conclude the regular season on the road at the Joliet Slammers on September 2^nd.

Standard start times for Monday – Friday games is 6:30 PM (exceptions: May 16, June 13, June 28, August 11, August 16), Saturday games at 6:00 PM and Sunday afternoons at 1:00 PM.  All game times are subject to change and gates open one hour prior to game time.
