Cancer Survivors' and Fleece Blanket Giveaway

The Schaumburg Boomers continue a six-game homestand tonight with another date against the West Division leading River City Rascals.

After three scoreless frames, River City’s offense exploded in the opener, recording 15 hits including three straight to open a five-run fourth. The Rascals batted around again in the fifth, chasing starter Robbie Penny from the contest. Frank Pfister recorded two of the five hits in the game for the Boomers. Karexon Sanchez reached base twice and drove home a run.

Tonight is a souvenir Saturday with the first 1,500 fans receiving a fleece blanket courtest of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, P.C. Tonight is also Cancer Survivors’ Night presented by Northwest Community Healthcare. For more information on Cancer Survivor's Night, CLICK HERE

Left-hander Jose Rodriguez will make his second start tonight for the Boomers.
