Day Camp Day
There's no better summer field trip than a Boomers game! With a pre-game parade, the opportunity to hang out with Coop the Boomer, and run the bases after the game, there is something for every camper to enjoy!

LAST NIGHT: With runners on second and third and nobody out in the ninth inning, the Schaumburg Boomers were unable to push across the tying run and fell to the Lake Erie Crushers by a score of 3-2 Tuesday evening.

Catcher Ty Nelson led off the ninth with a single and moved to third when Jereme Milons doubled to the wall in left center. However, Lake Erie closer Jonathan Kountis worked out of the jam, coercing a shallow fly out to right, a strikeout and a popout to end the threat and set the stage for the rubber match Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Boomers Stadium.

SCH: RHP Shane Prance (1-0, 4.91) vs. LE: RHP Trevor Longfellow (5-2, 3.83)

Today's originally scheduled starter Robby Donovan heads to the injured reserve for what should be a short stay on the 7-day with a blister on his throwing hand so RHP Shane Prance gets the ball today for manager Jamie Bennett as Schaumburg looks to claim this three-game set with Lake Erie with a win and post a 5-1 record on this six-game homestand.
