Boomers Return for Weekday Set Against Joliet

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Break up your mid-week monotony with a weeknight trip to Boomers Stadium as the Schaumburg Boomers return from a six-game road trip with three games against the Joliet Slammers filled with giveaways, celebrations, fireworks and more!

In the first game of the series on Wednesday, July 25, the Boomers show their appreciation of fans with smiles, hugs, and mystery envelopes for all, beginning at 6:30 p.m. If you’re feeling a little bit down or just love compliments (after all, who doesn’t?), come on out to the ballpark for some good old fashioned flattery. Thursday means another cup in the pint cup giveaway series beginning at 6:30 p.m., as the Boomers celebrate Union Night. With an extra one dollar off union groups as well as beer specials for all, this is an event that all union members will want to be a part of!

To round out the workweek, the Boomers continue the Friday tradition of fireworks with Olympics Night presented by Tuffy Auto Centers. World famous speedwalker Speedy Sven will be in attendance, as the Boomers celebrate the commencement of the 2012 Olympic Games with Olympic-themed in-between-inning contests and music all night, once again starting at 6:30 p.m.! We will cap off the night with an opening ceremony style fireworks display from Melrose Pyrotechnics leaving you feeling like you’re in London with the Olympians themselves.

Tickets for the fun and excitement of the Inaugural Season of Schaumburg Boomers Baseball are on sale now over the phone at 847.461.3695, online at www.boomersbaseball.com or in person at the Boomers Box Office located at 1999 Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg. Get your tickets today!
