TONIGHT: Schaumburg and Joliet do battle tonight in Game Two of this three-game set with RHP Alex Rivers (1-1, 6.60) getting the ball for Manager Jamie Bennett and the Boomers and RHP Tommy Mendoza (3-4, 4.95) on the hill for Joliet. 

LAST NIGHT: The Schaumburg Boomers regained first place by virtue of a 1-0 win over the Joliet Slammers and loss by the Windy City ThunderBolts at the hands of the Traverse City Beach Bums. Coming off a big series victory against the Windy City ThunderBolts, the Boomers (36-25) rode the left arm of starter Cameron Roth (7-4, 3.26) to victory as the lefty struck out eight in eight shutout innings of work!
