SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers join the holiday festivities on Friday, December 23, with a special visit from Santa Claus! Old Saint Nick and the Schaumburg Boomers Front Office staff will be on hand from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. for a Milk & Cookies Holiday Event.

With Christmas around the corner, the Boomers are looking to bolster anyone’s holiday gift-giving list with Boomer Bundles, Season Tickets, Boomers Holiday Packs and official Boomers merchandise. Every attendee is invited to take pictures with Santa Claus, enjoy some free milk and cookies, and help decorate the Boomers’ Christmas tree (more information at http://www.boomersbaseball.com/news/archives/2012/19/decorate-the-tree/). The Boomers also welcome toy donations, which will be donated to local youth for the holiday season.

Don’t miss this unique holiday event with the Schaumburg Boomers as the year comes to a close. Mixing baseball with holiday festivities makes the time even more the merrier! A little milk and cookies never hurts either.

The Schaumburg Boomers open the Inaugural Season on the road but return home on Friday, May 25 for a 6:30 p.m. contest against the Florence Freedom. Opening Day 2012 will be the first of nine fireworks dates during the Boomers first season of Frontier League action but the night is sure to be filled with a number of other surprises as the Boomers greet the greater Chicagoland area for the first time ever!
