THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME! - The Boomers, who are 30-14 at Boomers Stadium this season and Schaumburg will play host at least six more games this season as the Boomers battle for a coveted spot in the Frontier League Playoffs 

WASTED OPPORTUNITY - The Boomers failed to capitalize on losses by the Windy City ThunderBolts and Gateway Grizzles. However, Schaumburg did not lose any ground in the Frontier League’s tight West Division race as the Boomers remain a game back in the standings.

TONIGHT’S MATCHUP - The Boomers and Road Warriors square off in the final game of this series Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. with RHP Matt Kuna (2-4, 3.61) getting the start for Schaumburg and RHP Matt Schimpf (4-7, 5.26) taking the mound for the Road Warriors.
