SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Join the Schaumburg Boomers on Saturday, October 6 from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg for a FREE Oktoberfest, featuring live music, food, and a vast selection of seasonal beer!

After a successful first season including other great free events such as an Independence Day fireworks show and a preseason open house, the Boomers continue their commitment to the community with another free extravaganza! Oktoberfest is open to the public with food and beverage available for purchase. Expect great food, including traditional German cuisine and a wide variety of beer to satisfy any craving! Coop’s Kids Corner, the Boomers inflatable playland complete with a bounce house and obstacle course, will be open for the little ones from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. with all-you-can-bounce wristbands available for $5!

It wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without live music so we’ve lined up Jimmy’s Bavarians, Chicago’s Number One Oompah Band, to take the stage at 5 p.m. and kick things off for the night’s headliners, Ovrevolt. Ovrevolt connects the dots between late 60's English blues, early 70's hard rock, and 90's grunge to form a cohesive sound.
