Boomers Searching for Host Families

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers are searching for willing and able residents of the Northwest Suburbs to become part of the club’s Host Family program, housing a Boomers player for the summer and getting free season tickets along with other great perks! The responsibilities are minimal for the chance to build a bond with a Boomers player that can last a lifetime.

All families are asked to provide is a separate bedroom and bathroom for their host player, otherwise everything else is up to the players themselves. In exchange for participating in the program, host families receive two season tickets for 2012 – which include invitations to season ticket holder exclusive events and season ticket holder only discounts at the ballpark – and will be honored by the team and presented with a special gift at the end of the season.

Those interested in becoming a Boomers Host Family should visit www.boomersbaseball.com and fill out the application on the Host Families Page found under the “Clubhouse” heading. There are two ways to apply, either fill out the application form online or print off a hard copy and follow the instructions on the bottom of the application.

Season tickets and discounts for groups of 20 or more are available now so get connected with the Schaumburg Boomers: ‘Like’ us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/schaumburgboomers; follow us on Twitter @boomersbaseball and for all the latest news, updates and other information be sure to check out www.boomersbaseball.com.
