SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers are proud to announce Wintrust Financial Corporation as its newest corporate partner. As a Boomers Founding Partner, Wintrust will have a major presence throughout Boomers Stadium and in the community over the course of a three-year agreement.

“It is with great excitement that we are able to join with Wintrust Financial Corporation as we get set to kick off our first season, and we thank them for their commitment to our family and our fans,” said Andy Viano, President/GM of the Schaumburg Boomers. “It is a natural fit for two family-first, community-centric businesses to come together, and we look forward to bringing Wintrust Financial Corporation’s message to our passionate fan base for many years to come.”

It will be hard to miss Wintrust at Boomers Stadium as one of the Boomers Founding Partners, with four permanent signs scattered throughout the park in addition to one of the cornerstone signs surrounding the brand-new, state-of-the-art videoboard to be installed this spring and turned on for the first time on May 25th at Opening Day.

In addition to being one of the Boomers Founding Partners, Wintrust will be the presenting sponsor of the Post-Game Autograph Session, held following every Boomers Sunday home game. Wintrust will also sponsor a between inning contest at each of the 48 home games and staying true to their community focus, Wintrust will be one of the presenting sponsors of the Boomers Reading Program as well as the Boomers Kids Club, which includes membership in Wintrust’s Junior Savers Program.

“As the community bank for Schaumburg, we could not have found a better fit than with the Boomers, whose community focus, family atmosphere and commitment to customer service mirror our business principles,” said Joe Bohne Chairman/CEO of Schaumburg Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank. “We are thrilled to be a part of Boomer Country, this exciting time for baseball fans in Chicagoland, and look forward to working with the Boomers to grow the community and our community bank.”

With more than 100 locations in the Chicago area, including Schaumburg, Roselle and Arlington Heights, Wintrust Community Banks offer the depth, technology and resources of a large bank but with a customer and community focus that can only come from a family of locally-led, community banks. Now the second largest financial services company based in Illinois, Wintrust operates fifteen community bank subsidiaries as well as wealth management, mortgage, commercial banking and specialty financial companies.
