Single-Game Tickets and Opening Day 2012!

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Schaumburg Boomers single-game tickets – including those for the Inaugural Boomers Opening Night on Friday, May 25 – will be available for the first time exclusively at the Boomers Box Office starting at noon on Saturday, April 7.

Named after the nickname for the male greater prairie chicken and its famous “Booming Dance,” the Schaumburg Boomers host the Florence Freedom on Friday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m. for the first-ever home game in Boomers history, which will be jam-packed with fun, excitement and free stuff!

On Opening Night, the Boomers will power-on their new Daktronics HD videoboard giving Schaumburg fans a chance to be caught on the fan cam for the first time. The Boomers will give away an Orange T-Shirt to the first 4,000 fans to “Orange Out” the ballpark, 3,500 magnet schedules and introduce the world to all the fun and excitement that is Boomers Baseball!

May 25 will also be the first of the Boomers Friday Fireworks Nights with an awesome fireworks display after the game included at no additional charge! Every Boomers home games features free parking and the ability for fans of all ages to run the bases after the game.

On Saturday, April 7, single-game tickets for all 48 Boomers home games will be available in-person only from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium. The Boomers Box Office shares a parking lot with the Schaumburg Metra Station and is located at 1999 S. Springinsguth Road at the southwest corner of the park, below the “Home of the Boomers” sign.

After April 7, beginning on Monday, April 9 at 9 a.m., there will be four places to purchase tickets: at the Schaumburg Boomers Stadium Box Office located at 1999 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg, by mail at the same address, online at www.boomersbaseball.com or over the phone at 847.461.3695.

Those interested in Boomers Season Tickets or Group Packages are strongly encouraged to call the Boomers at 847.461.3695 today to preserve their seating preference as available seats will become open to the general public on April 7.

After grabbing some Boomers tickets, fans are welcome to stick around for a pair of college baseball games with the Wheaton College Thunder scheduled to take on the North Park University Vikings at 1 p.m. in a doubleheader.
