Coop and the Boomers Clowning Around on Fox!
SCHAUMBURG, Ill - Patrick Elwood of the Fox Chicago News Team stopped by the ballpark to help the Schaumburg Boomers find a new mascot performer to play the role of Coop the Boomer for the upcoming season which begins on Thursday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m.
The Boomers were featured LIVE during both the 8 o'clock and 9 o'clock hours of FOX's morning show and taped a segment for the Fox Chicago News at Noon too! Elwood interviewed Boomers Manager of Community Relations Sara Romano as well as mascot hopeful Steve Parks during the first live hit at 8:30 and the Boomers put Coop to the test with the obstacle course at 9:50. The Box Office will follow regular hours of operation beginning on Saturday as well - Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
