SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - It’s almost here! The sophomore season of Schaumburg Boomers Baseball gets underway on this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. when the Boomers square off against the Windy City ThunderBolts, and we have a jam-packed Opening Weekend to kick off the new season!

FRIDAY, MAY 17, 6:30 P.M. – FIREWORKS FRIDAY AND FIELD OF SCREAMS

Costumes are encouraged as the Boomers celebrate Halloween a little bit early with Field of Screams! Our Pre-Game Costume Parade, concourse Trick-or-Treating, and on-field costume contest will have you SCREAMING for more Boomers Baseball!

And since its Friday, you know what that means—FIREWORKS! Don’t miss the first fireworks extravaganza of the season in Boomer Country, presented by US 99.5.

SATURDAY, MAY 18, 6 P.M. - PAJAMA PARTY AT THE PARK & LIVE MUSIC

We're having a pajama party and all Boomers fans are invited! Come in your pj's and enjoy LIVE MUSIC from The Hops, who were named one of Chicago’s best local acts of 2012 by the Illinois Entertainer. This rock band brings a little bit of everything to the stage, including indie, funk, and even a little bit of jazz!

SUNDAY, MAY 19, 1 P.M. - FAMILY SUNDAY, $29 FAMILY FOUR PACK & AUTOGRAPHS

While Boomers Stadium is always a family-friendly environment, we’re going all out on Family Sundays presented by Star 105.5 to make it a day for the whole family. Parents bring some sidewalk chalk along with your kids to help decorate our concourse and if a game of four square or hopscotch breaks out, please let Coop the Boomer play too!
