The Schaumburg Boomers wrap up their season-opening series with a classic Sunday afternoon battle versus the Washington Wild Things. The Boomers look to end their first homestand on a high note with RHP Joe Parsons (0-0, 0.00) on the hill against RHP Shawn Blackwell (0-0, 0.00). Parsons will try to pick up where he left off last season as Schaumburg’s most frequently used reliever with a miniscule 1.57 ERA. 

First pitch is at 1:00 p.m. in Boomers Stadium, gates open at noon and the game is available live on the home of the Boomers, 1410 WRMN in Elgin. Or, you can listen online but don’t forget to come out and enjoy Boomers Baseball!
