SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - A week’s worth of wacky and value-added promotions begins tonight with Kids Eat Free Tuesday’s! Every kid 12 and under will receive a prepackaged prior to the second inning. Not only do the Kids Eat Free, but it’s You Choose Tuesdays which means you get to choose the uniforms the Boomers wear and what the pre-game music will be!

The Schaumburg Boomers and the Normal CornBelters begin a three game series tonight at Boomers Stadium with a scheduled first pitch of 6:30 p.m. We’re taking requests for our pre-game music playlist so send us the name and artist of your favorite song and (assuming its family appropriate) we’ll play the most popular requests! The Boomers (6-4) return to Schaumburg and will send Danny Jimenez (St. Charles, Ill.) to the mound to take on the CornBelters (7-2). The 6-foot-3 left-hander takes the hill looking for his first win of the season suffering a loss to Florence on May 23 allowing eight runs – four of which were earned – in five innings. Normal (7-2) is fresh of a sweep of the Greys and will send RHP Luis Noel (0-0) to the mound in tonight’s series opener.
