Donate Sports Equipment at the Gates TONIGHT

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - The Schaumburg Boomers invite all fans to donate new and gently used sports equipment at the gates on Friday, June 21 to help Gear for Goals provide impoverished children with sports equipment.

Boomers Stadium will open its gates for a game and a great cause, giving community members a chance to donate new and gently used gear for the underprivileged. Gear for Goals (G4G) gladly accepts equipment for all sports, as well as donations of time and monetary support. G4G is an Illinois-based charity with a vision to see every child in the world have the opportunity to play and enjoy sports. G4G’s mission is to provide children with the equipment to make that possible. For more information, use the following link: http://www.dreamweaver911.org/gearForGoals.html

The Boomers 6:30 p.m. game on the 21st is Fireworks Friday presented by US 99.5. Stick around after the last out and enjoy a fabulous fireworks show to go along with the opportunity for everyone to run the bases! It’s also Scout Sleepover and Superhero Night at the ballpark, as we invite all scouts to come and participate in a pre-game parade, present their colors, and stay for a campout at the stadium complete with s’mores and a movie on our giant videoboard. We’ll honor fictional and real-life superheroes and feature a costume parade for everyone who dresses up, and of course, free parking at every game.

Get your tickets now to be part of an action-packed night of Boomers Baseball while supporting a great cause! Pick up the phone and call 847.461.3695, log on to www.boomersbaseball.com, or stop by the Boomers Box Office at 1999 Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg!
