SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Jordan Dean recorded a two-out opposite field single to drive home Bubba Dotson with the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth on Thursday night as the Schaumburg Boomers salvaged a game from the Rockford Aviators with a 3-2 decision.

Rockford opened the scoring in the top of the first inning. Schaumburg evened the game in the second on a Dotson sacrifice fly and opened a 2-1 lead in the fifth on a Dean groundout. Rockford tied the score in the top of the ninth before Dean came through to hand Schaumburg its eighth walk-off win of the year.
