Boomers Annual Easter Egg Hunt Slated For April 19

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Coop the Boomer invites you to bring your basket and come on out to the ballpark for one of most popular family events of the year as the Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, host the third annual Easter Egg Hunt at Boomers Stadium on Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m.

The first Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m., with gates opening for the event at 9:30 a.m. The day’s Egg Hunts will be broken down into four different age groups, occurring consecutively on the field: ages three and under, ages four to six, ages seven and eight, and ages nine and up.

Admittance for the Easter Egg Hunt will be $2 per person (both participants and spectators), and includes a voucher for a FREE ticket for any May Boomers game (a $10 value!). Only cash will be accepted. Day of event purchase only.

The Boomers Box Office will be open for business throughout the event, so stop by to pick the best seats for Opening Night, one of our 19 Fireworks Dates, or any other of our 51 home games on the 2014 Boomers schedule! A limited menu of concession items will also be available for purchase.

It simply wouldn’t be a great Boomers event without the Tennis Ball Toss and the opportunity for everyone to Run the Bases to wrap up the festivities. Stick around after the Egg Hunts for these exciting Boomers traditions, and don’t forget to say hello to everyone’s favorite prairie chicken, Coop the Boomer!

Opening Day 2014 is set for Friday, May 23 when the Boomers will square off with the Florence Freedom at 6:30 p.m. complete with post-game fireworks presented by COUNTRY Financial. Group Outings, Season Tickets and Ticket Packages are available now by calling 847.461.3695.
