SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Highlighted by an unprecedented 19 fireworks dates, the Schaumburg Boomers presented by Wintrust Financial are rolling out a 2014 Promotional Schedule full of never-before-seen promotions, gotta-have-em giveaways, and tried-and-true theme nights—all presented with the first-class brand of family-friendly, affordable fun and entertainment fans have come to expect from Chicagoland’s only championship baseball franchise.

Single-Game Tickets for the highly anticipated third season of Boomers Baseball will be available Monday, March 24 beginning at 10 a.m. The best seats for the best dates are sure to go fast, so be sure to get yours early. There are three ways to purchase Boomers tickets starting Monday morning: online at www.boomersbaseball.com, over the phone at 847.461.3695, or in person at the Boomers Box Office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

As always, every Boomers home game features FREE PARKING and the ability for everyone to RUN THE BASES after the game, and we’ve cooked up a full slate of awesome promotions to put a smile on the face of every fan that walks through the gates this season!

The third season of Boomers Baseball kicks off in explosive fashion with a Championship Celebration complete with three straight days of fireworks courtesy of COUNTRY FINANCIAL and our CBS Radio partners, WUSN US 99.5, WSCR 670 the Score, and WJMK 104.3 K-HiTS, along with three straight days of giveaways. You won’t want to miss a minute of it!

The weekend begins with Opening Night on Friday, May 23 as the 2013 Champion Boomers receive their rings and we raise the Championship Flag to commemorate the 2013 season. Get there early to grab your Championship Pennant (first 3,000 fans) courtesy of the Boomers Founding Partners. It gets even better the next night, with yet another great giveaway and fireworks display, and this is one giveaway you DEFINITELY won't want to miss out on, as the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Replica Championship Ring, courtesy of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. Law Offices! And there’s no better way to cap off Opening Weekend in Boomerica than with a third straight night of fireworks, presented by COUNTRY Financial, along with a third straight giveaway day. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a 2014 Magnet Schedule to take home and plan a summer’s worth of fun outings back to Boomers Stadium!

You’ll have to leave the kids at home on Thursday, May 29 because on 21 and Over Night kid-free is the way to be! Join us for an evening of grown-up fun at the ballpark with a special 8 p.m. start time, complete with drinking games on the concourse, a bags tournament, a pre-game ceremonial first toast, live music by The Belvederes, and who knows what else!

June is jam-packed with fun at Boomers Stadium, with some old favorites such as Superhero Night on June 6 and Disney Night on June 20, alongside some new additions to the lineup. We’ll host the first-ever crowd-funded minor league baseball entertainment event on Saturday, June 7 with the Schaumburg Zombies and the Field of Screams. Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, for one night the Boomers will change their name to the Schaumburg Zombies, complete with a new logo and uniforms, professional makeup artists, and undead performers. We’re letting the dogs (and cats!) in on Tuesday, June 17, so bring your four-legged friends to the game for the first of two Bark in the Park Nights of the season, as your pooch can participate in the pre-game pet parade and even run the bases after the game! We're flipping the script for Backwards Night at the ballpark on Thursday, June 19! First pitches will be after the game, run the bases BACKWARDS, and more! There ain't no party like a Glow in the Park, so mark your calendar for Saturday, June 21 as the Boomers throw the first-ever Glow Night, complete with fluorescent paint and a Glow in the Dark Hat Giveaway for the first 1,000 fans, thanks to Wintrust Community Banks!

July starts off with a BANG in Boomerica, as we celebrate Independence Day with America’s Pastime and THREE consecutive days of fireworks from July 3-5, courtesy of COUNTRY Financial. Be sure to get to the ballpark early on July 4^th, because the first 1,000 fans will receive a Patriotic Boomers Hat, thanks to our partners at COUNTRY Financial! Everyone loves Star Wars Night on July 11 and Jimmy Buffett Night on July 12, and you most definitely will not want to miss out on the Third Annual Squirt Gun Fight on Sunday, July 13. A Boomers staple, this is one crazy, wet, and wild day at the ballpark, as we transform Boomers Stadium into a water wonderland. We'll provide the squirt gun, and all fans will be invited onto the field after the game as we go for the world record.

You'll definitely want to be one of the first 1,000 fans through the gates on Saturday, August 9 to snag your very own Boomers Seat Cushion, courtesy of ATI Physical Therapy. The good times keep rolling in Schaumburg on Sunday, August 10 as Coop is on a Treasure Hunt, and he needs your help to find it! Remember, X marks the spot...

The Boomers are making it easy to treat the grandkids to a fun afternoon at the ballpark with Grandkids Day Out on Wednesday, August 13! For this special 1 PM game, all grandkids will receive free admission when accompanied by a grandparent!

Harry Potter Night starts off a jam-packed weekend on Friday, August 22 at 6:30 p.m. with a Harry Potter-themed fireworks show, a costume contest, make-your-own-wand station, and more! And you’ll definitely want to come right back the very next night for the 2014 Marshmallow Fight. You won't want to miss this one, so grab some ammo and get yourself down to the ballpark for the Second Annual Boomers Marshmallow Fight! Where else but Boomers Stadium would you be encouraged to hurl marshmallows at your friends?

The Boomers encourage you to play hooky on Wednesday, August 27 and Wednesday, September 3 for our special 1 p.m. Businessperson’s Days. Take that extra-long lunch or better yet, convince your boss to close the office and treat the whole gang to an afternoon of Boomers Baseball!

The third season of Boomers Baseball wraps up with Fan Appreciation Night on Thursday, September 4, as we salute the great fans of Boomerica and say thank you for another year of support. What better way to end the season than with a grand finale of fireworks and some giveaways, of course?!
