SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Empire Productions, LLC has once again joined with Schaumburg Boomers Baseball for the second annual Ballpark Brew Fest, being held at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for general admission ticketholders.

This four-hour, sampling brewery festival features craft and specialty beers from over 45 breweries, including Lagunitas, Goose Island, Ale Syndicate, Two Brothers, Half Acre, The Great Divide breweries, and many more. General admission tickets are $40 each and VIP tickets are $75 each, which allows the ticketholder access to the event an hour early at 1:00 p.m.

“Not only does this event showcase local Chicago breweries, but national breweries as well,” says Jonathan Boucher, Event Coordinator for Ballpark Brew Fest. “This is such a great opportunity for beer nerds who live outside of the city limits to get a taste of what’s happening in the craft beer scene.”

The exclusive, outdoor craft brewery festival will showcase the newest batches of craft beers by well-known and up-and-coming brewers, including one of the country’s first vegan breweries, and live music by “Piano Man,” Chicago’s Billy Joel and Elton John tribute band. Guests can utilize the free parking available, as well as the convenience of the Schaumburg Metra station being a quarter-mile from the festival entrance. Boomers Stadium is located at 1999 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.
