2nd Annual Michael Matters Stadium Walk: May 4

Schaumburg, Ill. -- The Michael Matters Foundation, Inc. was founded in honor of Michael P. Schostok, who succumbed to a Glioblastoma Brain Tumor at a young age. Schostok was a partner in the Salvi, Schostok, & Pritchard P.C. Law Offices, of which Boomers owner Patrick Salvi is a founding partner.

The Foundation’s mission is to increase public awareness of this disease, and raise funds to provide desperately needed financial assistance to Chicago area individuals and their family members who suffer from the inevitable impacts of brain cancer.

Last year, more than 500 people attended the first annual Michael Matters Foundation National Walk to End Brain Cancer at Boomers Stadium. It was a tremendous showing that raised close to $80,000 in support of those in our community suffering from the impacts of brain cancer.

This year's Walk is scheduled for noon on Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg, Ill.
