SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - The first-ever crowd-funded minor league baseball entertainment event will take place on Saturday, June 7 with the Schaumburg Zombies taking on the Southern Illinois Miners in a 6 p.m. contest.

Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, for one night only the Boomers will change their name to the Schaumburg Zombies, complete with a new logo and uniforms, professional makeup artists, and undead performers.
