JOLIET, Ill.  — The 2013 Frontier League Champion Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, dropped an 11-3 contest to the Joliet Slammers on Sunday afternoon.

Joliet scored twice in the bottom of the second inning. Alexi Colon hit a pair of homers to tie the score with solo blasts in the third and fifth.
