Boomers Seek Volunteers to Help Strike Out Hunger

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The two-time defending Champion Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, are teaming up with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) and volunteers in the community to help strike out hunger in the developing world by preparing thousands of life-saving meals at an FMSC MobilePack™ event on Thursday, February 26 at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg.

In addition to the Boomers staff, hundreds of volunteers are needed to help pack meals at the event held in the Schaumburg Club located on the third floor suite level at Boomers Stadium. Anyone interested in volunteering simply needs to sign up in advance and online registration is open now by logging on to http://bit.ly/boomersFMSC.

Set Up Shift: 20 volunteers needed from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Meal Packing Shift: 160 volunteers needed from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Clean Up Shift: 20 volunteers needed from 8:30 p.m. until 10:30 PM
