Boomers Playing Surface Open for Rent to Area Teams

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — With snow melting around Chicagoland, area high school, college and youth baseball teams in need of a suitable field should look no further than Schaumburg Boomers Stadium as the playing surface is officially open and playable with limited dates and times now available to rent.

Boomers Stadium is the summer home of the 2013 and 2014 Frontier League Champion Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks. Meticulously maintained by 2014 Groundskeeper of the Year, Mike Tlusty, the professional playing surface is home to Dominican University and other local youth teams and high school teams in the spring. If your local field is not ready for play or you are interested in providing your team with the experience of playing on a professional diamond, consider moving your scheduled games to Boomers Stadium by contacting Mike Tlusty directly either at 708.565.8578 or [email protected] for rates and availability!

The home opener for the 2015 Season of Schaumburg Boomers Baseball is set for Friday, May 22nd at 6:30 p.m. against the Lake Erie Crushers and featuring a pre-game championship ring ceremony and post-game fireworks. In addition to the Boomers attempt to complete the three-peat in 2015, Schaumburg will host the 2015 Frontier League All-Star Festivities with the Home Run Derby on Tuesday, July 14th and annual All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 15th.
