Boomers and Aviators Rained Out

LOVES PARK, Ill.  — The two-time defending Frontier League Champion Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, were rained out for the third time this season on Saturday night.

Schaumburg (14-17) was scheduled to play the Rockford Aviators but steady and consistent rain forced the postponement. The two teams will play a doubleheader at 3:05 p.m. on Sunday. The Boomers own a 1-3 mark in doubleheaders this season.
