Boomers Begin Packed Fourth of July Weekend

SCHAUMBURG, IL – The Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, continue their defense of the 2013 & 2014 Frontier League titles with six consecutive home games beginning June 30 and continuing through the Fourth of July weekend.

Friday, July 3, the Boomers open up a three game weekend series against the Evansville Otters with a 6:30 PM tilt. The first 1,000 fans through the Boomers Stadium gates will receive a limited edition red, white, and blue Boomers hat presented by Country Financial, while the Jesse White Tumblers and an extended patriotic fireworks display highlight the post-game festivities.

The Boomers are the must-attend Fourth of July event of the summer with a 6:00 PM Independence Day clash against the Otters. For the first time in Boomers Stadium history, the Clown Prince of Baseball Myron Noodleman will be making an appearance. Balloon twisting and face painting will also be available all evening on the Boomers Stadium concourse, and an extended patriotic theme fireworks show will follow post-game.

On Sunday, July 5, the Boomers conclude an eventful Independence Day weekend with a Family Sunday discount package. Four tickets, four hot dogs, and four sodas are just $39 while an autograph session with the entire Boomers team will occur following the game.

Prior to the Fourth of July weekend series, the Boomers host a weekday slate of games June 30 through July 2 against the Frontier Greys. Both June 30 and July 1 are $2 Discount Days, meaning groups of over 50 or more receives tickets for just two dollars.
