Four-Run Fourth Propels Boomers

SAUGET, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, scored four runs in the fourth inning to collect a 4-3 over the Gateway Grizzlies in the opener of a series on Tuesday night.

Schaumburg did not record a hit after the fifth inning against the Gateway bullpen. Evan Boyd worked the eighth four Schaumburg while Dexter Price spun a perfect ninth for his eighth save of the season.
