Boomers Home Opener Set for May 12
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – The Schaumburg Boomers kick off the 6th season of Boomers Baseball on Friday, May 12th, at 6:30 p.m. against the Traverse City Beach Bums. The gates will open for another exciting season of Boomers Baseball at 5:30 p.m. with the first 1,000 fans taking home a Boomers Magnet Schedule courtesy of Kamphaus Auto Care and Emissions. Opening night is capped off by the first of twenty-two spectacular Fireworks Shows presented by Wintrust Community Banks.

Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at 6:00 PM: Ahoy Me Hearties! Yo Ho! Ye be invited to the bountiest of parties! Join the Boomers for a swashbucklin' good time for Pirate Night. Peg legs, parrots, & chests of gold - Ye best be wearing yer Pirate attire or Walk the Plank! the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a 2017 Magnet Schedule to take home and plan a summer's worth of fun outings at Boomers Stadium! As always, stick around after the game for the post-game Meijer Tennis Ball Toss, FIREWORKS presented by Wintrust Community Banks, and Run the Bases.
Sunday, May 14th, 2017 at 1:00 PM: Life doesn't come with a manual - it comes with a mother. Join the Boomers on Mother's Day to celebrate MOM! With a special pregame Mother's Day Brunch Boomers Stadium is where MOM will want to be. As a way of showing our appreciation, every Mom on Mother's Day the first 500 mothers through the gates will receive a carnation courtesy of Deptula Florist.
