The Schaumburg Boomers have signed right-handed pitcher Harry Orth.

Orth, a native of Kenosha, Wisconsin, played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. Over four seasons with the Titans, Orth compiled an 8-7 record with a 4.42 ERA across 114.0 innings pitched, making 13 starts. He struck out 48 batters while helping anchor the pitching staff in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

During the 2022 season, Orth logged a career-high 76.0 innings with a 4.62 ERA, making 11 starts and earning six wins. He also spent time in summer collegiate leagues, gaining additional experience against advanced competition.

Orth adds depth to the Boomers pitching staff heading into the upcoming season.
