SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers have signed outfielder Thomas DeBrower for the 2026 season. DeBrower is from Ankeny, Iowa and most recently played collegiately at Saint Leo University in Florida.

DeBrower appeared in 47 games for Saint Leo during the 2025 season, posting a .390 batting average with a .505 on-base percentage and a .459 slugging percentage. He recorded 62 hits, 19 RBI, 21 stolen bases and scored 48 runs while helping lead the Lions in the Sunshine State Conference.

Prior to Saint Leo, DeBrower played at St. Ambrose University, where he hit .306 during the 2023 season. Across two collegiate seasons, he compiled a .374 batting average with 73 hits and 26 stolen bases. Defensively, DeBrower saw time across all three outfield positions during his collegiate career.
