Boomers Sign RHP Tom Vincent
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – The Schaumburg Boomers have signed left-handed pitcher Tom Vincent for the 2026 season.
A native of Houston, Texas, Vincent joins the Boomers after spending the 2026 season at Tulane University, where he appeared in 22 games out of the bullpen. He recorded three saves while striking out 24 batters in 29.1 innings.
Before transferring to Tulane, Vincent spent three seasons at Rice University. Across his collegiate career, he appeared in 85 games, compiling 91 strikeouts over 105.1 innings. His most productive season came in 2024 when he made 28 relief appearances and struck out 36 batters.
Vincent also gained valuable experience in summer collegiate baseball. He pitched for the Savannah Bananas organization in 2021, posting a 1.93 ERA over 23.1 innings, and later suited up for the Charlottesville Tom Sox of the Valley League in 2022, allowing just one run across 8.2 innings.
The 24-year-old brings extensive bullpen experience to Schaumburg, having made 97 appearances throughout his collegiate and summer league career while recording 123 strikeouts in 137.1 total innings.
