Nick Oddo enters his fourth season as the Schaumburg Boomers' Hitting Coach after joining the coaching staff in 2023.

A former professional catcher, Oddo enjoyed a nine-year playing career that included time in affiliated and independent baseball. He appeared in more than 550 professional games, collecting 465 hits, 78 doubles, 32 home runs, and 230 RBIs. During his professional career, Oddo spent five seasons with the Boomers, helping the organization capture the 2017 & 2021 Frontier League Championships.

Known for his work ethic and leadership, Oddo brought a veteran presence to every clubhouse he was part of throughout his playing career. His experience as a 2018 Frontier League All-Star provides valuable insight for Boomers players as they develop their offensive approach and overall game.

As Hitting Coach, Oddo works closely with the Boomers hitters on swing development, game planning, and daily preparation, helping guide the club's offensive success while continuing the winning tradition of the organization.
