Boomers Re-Sign Fitzgerald for Fourth Season
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers have re-signed Kyle Fitzgerald for the 2026 season, marking his fourth year with the club. A Brookfield, Illinois native, Fitzgerald returns following a strong 2025 campaign and consistent postseason production.
Fitzgerald posted 93 hits, 19 doubles, three triples, 61 RBIs, 47 walks, and 12 stolen bases during the 2025 season. He also contributed offensively in every playoff game during the Boomers’ 2025 postseason run.
The local product remains a key piece of the Boomers’ lineup as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
