Schaumburg Boomers Announce Front Office Promotions and Additions

The Schaumburg Boomers are proud to announce several well-deserved promotions and exciting new additions within the front office as the organization continues to grow heading into the 2026 season.

Chris Salazar has been promoted to Vice President & Assistant General Manager. Chris joined the Boomers in 2022 and has been instrumental in the team’s continued success on and off the field.

Sarah Fortuna has been elevated to Vice President of Fan Experience & Media. Sarah began her journey with the Boomers as an intern in 2022 and became a full-time staff member in January 2023. Her leadership and creativity have played a key role in shaping the Boomers’ fan engagement and media presence.

Ryan Dominick has been promoted to Vice President of Food & Beverage. Ryan first joined the organization as an intern in 2021 before coming on full-time in 2023, where he quickly made an impact improving the fan experience through the ballpark’s food and beverage operations.

Zoe Binder has been promoted to Director of Hospitality. Zoe joined the Boomers in 2024 and has consistently demonstrated excellence in guest services and hospitality management.

In addition to these promotions, the Boomers are thrilled to welcome several new full-time staff members:

• Nick Sok, Director of Promotions, who interned with the Boomers in 2023 and 2024 before going full-time in 2025.

• Matthew Garrity, Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, who worked seasonally from 2015–2024 before joining full-time in 2025.

• Erin Sowl, Social Media & Merchandise Coordinator, who interned with the team in 2023 and 2024 before going full-time in 2025.

• Erin Day, Account Executive, who served on the Boomers’ grounds crew from 2022–2025 and transitioned to a full-time role in September 2025.
