Medina Joins White Sox Staff
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers are proud to announce that former Boomers coach Tony Medina has officially joined the Chicago White Sox as a Major League Assistant on the club’s support staff.
Tony first joined the Boomers organization in 2022 as the team’s hitting coach, where he played a key role in developing the club’s offensive approach and player growth. In 2023, he transitioned into the role of Data Analytics Coordinator, helping modernize the Boomers’ player evaluation and in-game strategy systems with a strong data-driven foundation.
The Boomers congratulate Tony on this next step in his career and wish him continued success with the Chicago White Sox.
