Boomers Re-Sign INF Will Prater
SCHAUMBURG, IL — The Schaumburg Boomers have re-signed infielder Will Prater for the 2026 season, marking his fourth year with the club.
Prater, 26, appeared in 72 games last season and hit .274, while scoring a career-high 41 runs. He added 31 RBIs, seven stolen bases, eight doubles, and 25 walks.
The Powder Springs, GA., native has been a consistent presence in the Boomers’ lineup since joining the club in 2023.
