Schaumburg, IL – The Boomers have announced that Bren Spillane, who joined the team in 2025 as an outfielder, will return for the 2026 season—this time transitioning to a right-handed pitcher.

Spillane saw limited action during his first season with the Boomers but has shown the athleticism and adaptability that the team believes will translate well to his new role on the mound.
