Giulianelli to Guardians
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers have announced that the contract of right-handed pitcher Ettore Giulianelli has been transferred to the Cleveland Guardians organization.
Giulianelli, a 22-year-old native of Rimini, Italy, signed with the Boomers earlier this offseason after spending four seasons in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. He progressed from the Florida Complex League to the Class A level, most recently pitching with Palm Beach in 2024.
During his professional career, Giulianelli appeared in 57 games, recording 104 strikeouts across 68.2 innings. He demonstrated the ability to miss bats at every level, including a strikeout rate of 14.0 per nine innings during the 2024 season.
The Boomers wish Ettore the best as he continues his professional career with the Cleveland Guardians.
