Mitch White Signs with Giants Organization

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Former Schaumburg Boomers right-handed pitcher Mitch White has signed with the San Francisco Giants organization, continuing his professional baseball career after two seasons in Schaumburg.

White spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons with the Boomers, serving as a key piece of the bullpen. During the 2024 campaign, he appeared in 37 games and logged 50.0 innings, posting a 3.42 ERA while striking out 52 batters and recording a 1.12 WHIP. He followed that performance with another solid season in 2025, making 33 appearances and finishing with a 3.77 ERA across 31.0 innings. White also collected 11 saves during the 2025 season, continuing to provide reliability in late-inning situations.

A native of Livonia, Michigan, White played collegiately at Abilene Christian University and the University of Cincinnati before beginning his professional career. He joined the Boomers after time at Cincinnati and went on to establish himself as a dependable arm in the Frontier League.

The Schaumburg Boomers congratulate Mitch on this opportunity and wish him the best as he takes the next step in his professional journey with the San Francisco Giants organization.
