Woolfolk is Back for 2026 Season
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers have re-signed right-handed relief pitcher Dallas Woolfolk for the 2026 season.
Woolfolk returns to Schaumburg after spending the past two seasons with the Boomers, where he served as a reliable option out of the bullpen. He appeared in 50 games with the club over the 2024 and 2025 seasons, providing consistent innings and experience in late-game situations.
Before joining the Boomers, Woolfolk spent multiple seasons in affiliated baseball after being selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 13th round of the 2018 MLB Draft. He pitched throughout the Athletics’ minor league system before making the move to independent ball.
A native of Hernando, Mississippi, Woolfolk played his collegiate baseball at the University of Mississippi, competing in the SEC. He will return to Schaumburg as part of the Boomers’ pitching staff for the 2026 Frontier League season.
