Boomers Re-Sign Infielder Alec Craig
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (2.24.26) — The Schaumburg Boomers have re-signed infielder Alec Craig for the 2026 season. This is Craig’s sixth consecutive season with the Boomers.
The Sicklerville, NJ native appeared in 64 games during the 2025 season, batting .271 with 65 hits, 34 RBIs, 12 stolen bases, and 58 walks.
Alec Craig has been a staple in Schaumburg since the 2021 season, providing a consistent presence at the plate and delivering in key moments throughout the season. In addition to his on-field performance, Craig has emerged as a respected leader in the clubhouse, setting the tone with his veteran presence.
