Boomers Sign Streamwood Native RHP Kyle Moore
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers have signed right-handed pitcher Kyle Moore ahead of the 2026 season.
Moore, a Streamwood, Illinois native, arrives in Schaumburg following a winter stint in the California Winter League, where he logged additional innings and continued his offseason development.
He spent three seasons at Missouri Southern State University, appearing in 71 games and posting a 16-8 record with a 5.69 ERA over 180.1 innings. Throughout his collegiate career, Moore was used in a variety of situations, handling both multi-inning relief outings and starts while consistently providing dependable innings.
Moore moved into the independent ranks in 2025 and briefly appeared with Schaumburg during the season, giving the organization an early look at the right-hander against professional competition. His familiarity with the area and prior time in the clubhouse provide continuity as he returns to the Boomers for the upcoming season.
With his local roots and steady mound presence, Moore adds another experienced arm to the pitching staff as the Boomers continue building depth heading into 2026.
