Boomers Add Right-Handed Pitcher Jacob Bell

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – The Schaumburg Boomers have signed right-handed pitcher Jacob Bell for the upcoming season.

Bell, a native of Winchester, Virginia, pitched collegiately at Shenandoah University, appearing in 39 games over three seasons. During his collegiate career, the right-hander logged 212.0 innings, compiling a 21–3 record with a 3.52 ERA while striking out 179 batters.

Bell’s most recent season came in 2024 when he made 14 appearances, all starts, for Shenandoah, finishing with a 9–2 record and a 4.09 ERA across 94.2 innings. He struck out 75 batters while serving as a key member of the Hornets’ rotation.

In addition to his college experience, Bell also spent time in the Valley League with the Winchester Royals during the summer of 2023.

Bell becomes the latest addition to the Boomers’ pitching staff as the club continues to assemble its roster ahead of the upcoming season.
