Drone Show Added to Fan Appreciation Night

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — It is with great pleasure that the Schaumburg Boomers announce the addition of another drone show to the promotional schedule for fan appreciation night on August 28.

Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, the drone show on July 25 was unable to launch. To make it up to the fans the Boomers are adding a drone show to Fan Appreciation Night on Thursday, August 28 - the last regular season home game of 2025.

The drone show will be added to an already planned postgame fireworks show on the final home date of the season when the Windy City ThunderBolts visit for a 6:30pm contest. The show will give the Boomers an additional way to thank the best fans in all of baseball for their support throughout another outstanding season of family fun and baseball in Chicagoland. There will be giveaways all night long in addition to the fireworks and drone show. The night is presented by AARP and all drone shows are presented by COUNTRY Financial.

The Boomers (43-23), winners in 15 of the last 18 games, own the most wins in the Frontier League’s Midwest Conference and are tied for first place in the league’s West Division. The team will be on the road all week with six games against the Mississippi Mud Monsters before returning home for six contests from August 5-10.

The fun of the 2025 season is starting to wind down. Get your tickets now for all of the remaining home games this summer at Wintrust Field before it’s too late. Make plans to be part of the fun! Visit boomersbaseball.com or call 847-461-3695 to secure yours.
